Cardiff Haunted House:
Therianthropy Halls
Therianthropy definition:
Therianthropy is the mythological ability of human beings to metamorphose into other animals by means of shapeshifting. It is possible that cave drawings found at Les Trois Frères, in France, depict ancient beliefs in the concept. The most well known form of therianthropy is found in stories concerning werewolves.

When we were invited to Cardiff Haunted House, we really didn't know what to expect. Would it be full of zombies or as the name suggests, ghosts? We then looked up the word Therianthropy. Now it made a lot more sense.

Were we getting TeenWolf, 80's version or the 2000-something version?

What we got was 20 minute scare fest that had us both laughing and screaming at the same time. Maybe our laughs were to disguise the fact we were in fact truly scared stiff. Thankfully there is a bar at the end of the tour to calm our nerves.

The event is thoroughly enjoyable and is recommended for anyone over 18. Opening on Halloween in Portland House, Cardiff Bay, you still have a chance to visit before it closes on 6th November for another year.

Check out a small clip from the experience and it will certainly give you an insight into the madness that await.

Tickets are available online here, if you dare.
