Comes strength. They say when the chips are down you find out who your friends are For Carl Parry owner of Clive Ranger Jewellers in High Street Arcade, this test came earlier this year. With a move of premises imminent he was struck down with a debilitating cancer and while being treated, friends, staff and family pitched in to ensure the move and refurbishment of the new shop ran smoothly.

Clive said: “If it wasn't for my friends and family Clive Ranger may not exist now. I will always be grateful for their help and support. It's in times like these you know who your friends are, and I am lucky I know who mine are, because they stepped up to the plate. My brother in law managed the renovation and everyone helped out where they could. Furthermore, I was in hospital when we opened, and staff were left to fend for themselves which they did admirably.”
He continued “We're starting a fresh, but still looking to maintain the same level of service and knowledge as we've always had we'll be focusing on diamond rings, wedding jewellery, bespoke items and quality gifts for all occasions. We also do repairs and valuations.”
